At the age of 14 I was given my first set of clippers by my older brother. He said to me, “you’ll thank me later.” Fast forward to today, at the age of 22, I am blessed to be an apprentice at Side Affects under Silicone Valley Apprenticeship Barbering/Cosmetology. 

Having fun with cutting up my friends through high school and mindlessly putting myself through college cutting hair in my dorm with just a set of clippers really moved me to elevate my talent. After obtaining my degree from CSUMB and pursuing my business career for about a year, l made the decision to commit to what I truly love to do. 

So here I am, thanking my brother and YOU, for taking an interest in my story and considering me as your barber.
